A solid classical formation gave SERGE the experience required to be able to 'see' the transcendental core of things and start his quest in abstract. For SERGE, the realistic world is truly beautiful... but being able to see and translate its inner beauty into abstract is his main task as a visual artist.

Hailing from Toronto since 2005, SERGE BUSHCHYK graduated from the College of Art after 16 years of mastering classical fine arts in his native Minsk, Belarus. His father Mikalai Bushchyk, a well known artist, taught him to see the world as an artist.

SERGE have showcased his artwork at the UN, the Native American House Gallery in NYC, the Museum of Contemporary Russian Art in New Jersey, McMichaels Gallery Moonlight Gala, Laurier Gallery and won a second prize at the 58th Annual Colour and Form Society exhibit. His art can be found at the State Museum of Contemporary Art of Belarus, the Museum of Contemporary Russian Art in Jersey City, and private collections in Belarus, Russia, Germany, USA, and Canada.
