"Having grown up in the town of Cobourg, Adam received his B.F.A. in 2013 from OCAD University and currently lives and works as a painter in Toronto. Stemming from inspirations after studying for a year in Florence, Italy, Adam sees there is an inherent beauty to be found at the heart of a city. Feeling blessed to experience a city like Toronto daily, Adam is excited to challenge himself as an artist in representing that beauty.

Through the vibrancy of oil paint and controlled gesture, Adam presents themes of social and relational identity that transcend cultural barriers. In so doing, his work becomes much more than mere composites of streets, buildings and figures; it develops into a richly intimate and personal experience.

Adam has showcased his work across Southern Ontario, and won the Mayor's Purchase Award and Best of Students: Painting Award at the 2013 Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. As well, his work is part of the City of Toronto's permanent collection. "
