Nicole is a Toronto-based visual artist. She looks to Japanese art and culture for inspiration, after having lived in Kyoto, Japan. Prior to Japan, she recieved a BA in fine arts and psychology from Western University.

Nicole gravitates towards constant artistic inspiration and individuality. She juxtaposes traditional techniques with contemporary materials. Fashion and spatial design, muted palates, colors and grafitti are a powerful inspiration. Furthermore, she enjoys collections, multiples and layers (in art, culture and character) .

Nicole is currently exploring the effects liquid acrylic on acrylic panels, which are then layered to create depth.
