Something new and bold is happening in Art in Toronto and the world is taking notice.

The Toronto Art Expo with over 300 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors in its Spring 2008 edition, has grown into the largest show of its kind in Canada. The Toronto Art Expo has presented, through a juried process the best of Canadian and International art and as such it has become a destination for selective art connoisseurs and many other art business professionals---and they have come from all over North America and Europe for this weekend of Art. Cross referencing the artists’ exhibition biographies, they include all the major galleries of Toronto as well as many more in the wider International art field, as an increasing number of international artists and galleries are now making their way to the Toronto Art Expo due to its spreading reputation in the art world as a premium venue for sales to discerning collectors.

New this year will be the inclusion of 30 invited Canadian and International galleries and collectives, keeping in line with a growing trend among the major American and European art fairs.

As well as a venue for the promotion of art, Toronto Art Expo seeks to create a public appreciation of the value and enrichment of fine art to our lives with special features in and around the visual art field.
